I’m not that into women’s basketball or women’s sports in general but I can’t help but watch Candace Parker for a few minutes at least when she’s on TV. She made her WNBA debut today and I caught a little bit of it. She is totally going to own the WNBA. I can’t believe I’m saying this but she is probably the LeBron James of the WNBA. She is far more athletic and far more skilled than anyone else and she proved that leading her Los Angeles Sparks past the defending WNBA champion Phoenix Mercury with 34 points, 12 boards and 8 assists. She probably plays the most like a man and I mean that in a good way. And yeah…I’m not gonna lie…I think she’s a babe (at least by female baller standards). The hype and endorsements she’s getting is well-deserved and soon she’ll be the face of the WNBA (for the three years that it lasts).
